After the success of the Manchester event earlier this year, over 30 partners attended the specialist seminar day that took place on the iconic warship, HMS Belfast in Central London.
The day was opened by John Pett, Managing Director of Chess Partner and Stuart Yeomans, Head of Distribution for O2.
The morning session focused on the O2 Customer Satisfaction Index Programme aiming to help partners achieve the best scores from their customers. O2 guest speaker, Craig Fullicks, took centre stage to review the lessons learnt in 2016, as well as giving an overview of how the programme has changed during the year.
Partners then heard from Quadrangle, one of the UK’s leading independent consultancies, about helping brands improve customer performance. Chess welcomed Chloe Coleman of Iugo Mobiles, one of their partners, who shared their own experience of changing their business to enhance their CSI score.
The Chess Partner Support team then provided an overview of the tools available to assist Partners in increasing their CSI scores, such as My O2 Business, Network Coverage, O2 Open and O2 E-service, giving Partners key take-away’s to deliver back into their business.
During lunch, Partners got to enjoy a tour of the iconic HMS Belfast, now a museum ship permanently moored on the River Thames, before embarking on the afternoon session focused on all things Digital.
O2 Head of Digital, Simon Cockcroft, spoke about the hottest digital trends and the internet revolution before handing over to David Harsent, IBM Security Channel Manager, who went on to talk about the IBM MaaS360 product and how it can help businesses.
Chess’s Dan Russell and Craig Howell informed Partners of how they can support them with bringing Digital into their business portfolio, as well as touching on IoT and how they will launch new plans for Partners in the coming months.
Mark Baggs from O2 wrapped up the day with Mobile Voice Recording, explaining how it can be used in business, sharing some success stories. A demonstration of the products then followed before the final question and answer session was led by Managing Director of Chess Partner, John Pett and Kerri Lendon, Head of Partner Support.
Kerri Lendon, Head of Partner Support, commented to say “The day was a real success! The venue was unique and provided a great environment to deliver vital information on products and services in relation to CSI and Digital with O2. Growth has been a key focus for Chess in 2017 and will be again in 2018, and by providing our Partners with more tools and products to add to their business portfolio we will support their growth and therefore ours. It was key to have industry specialists there presenting to Partners, and by demonstrating the strength of our relationship with O2, and their suppliers, it will only enhance our Partners business relationships with their Customers.”
