The incentive encouraged their O2 Approved Dealers to compete against each other to achieve the highest volume of New Voice Connections and Digital activations on O2 and win an exclusive all-expenses paid trip to London.
As part of the exclusive O2 Approved Dealer Programme, Chess Partner help partners increase their brand and business engagement, improve customer satisfaction and advance digitally.
After a breakfast briefing at the five-star Flemings Hotel in Mayfair, the first day was underway with a delicious brunch at the European style all-day café restaurant The Wolsley. Then partners enjoyed their first shopping destination in the Saville Row Street in affluent Mayfair where they were measured for a bespoke shirt at the independent tailoring company Cad and Dandy.
The next stop was the royal shoemakers, Crocket and Jones, where each partner was treated to a new pair of handmade shoes. After finding the perfect fit, they visited the Cambridge Satchel Company in Covent Garden to design their own leather satchel to match. Next on the shopping list, was a visit to the quintessential English luxury lifestyle brand Aspinal of London, where partners chose a belt.
The day’s shopping extravaganza was topped off with a four-hour unique dining experience at celebrity chef Marcus Wareing Chef’s Table.
On the second day, it was time to relax with a pampering spa day. The gentlemen visited the Gentleman’s Tonic in Mayfair while the ladies of the group headed to the Mayfair Hotel Spa for a hot stone massage. The group ended the day on a high with lunch at The Mayfair Kitchen.
John Pett, Managing Director Chess Partner said “We pride ourselves on our established relationship with O2 and as the only distributor to receive both the O2 Digital Excellence and the O2 Customer Excellence Awards two years running, I look forward to our partnership growing from strength to strength.”
Kerri Lendon, Head of Partner Support Chess Partner, commented to say “It was great to catch up with our long-standing partners who won our O2 growth incentive this year. We are always thinking of ways to improve our partner relations and were really happy to see the success the incentive drove for O2 connections.”
David Black, O2 Channel Business Manager added: “We were pleased to support this great incentive. The prize winners were really spoilt and quite rightly so. They did a great job in driving both mobile and digital volume over the incentive period. The prize itself was very special and well organised, a real VIP experience.”
