The appointment comes alongside a move for Stephen Dracup from Managing Director to Chief Growth Officer.

As Chief Growth Officer he will focus on driving growth through product strategy and acquisitions.

Chief Executive Officer, Mark Lightfoot commented:

Set to complement the team at the top is Oliver Lofthouse joining as Partner Sales Director from Vodafone, bringing a wealth of expertise, drive, and energy to deliver results.
Biography - Mark Lightfoot
Mark graduated from the University of Aston Business School with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Business Studies, receiving the Vauxhall Prize for Academic Excellence. After university Mark joined an accountancy practice in Chester and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999, winning the North Wales and Chester 1st prize Order of Merit.
Mark swapped practice for industry in 2000 holding senior financial positions with Edmundson Electrical Limited before joining Chess in 2008 as Financial Controller. He achieved promotion to the main board as Financial Director in 2010 and to Chief Financial Officer in 2018. Hobbies outside of work include keeping fit, listening to music, watching movies and most importantly spending time with his family.
